It's been awhile, but my tablet is now working just fine! Also, I have PSE8.0, so I look forward to using that. So far I've been practicing using the tablet and doing random exercises to get used to the feel of it. I can definitely see why people would get a Cintiq! Drawing on a surface, but looking at a screen to do it is really different and I hope to get the hang of it.
